o Addressing the memory
In the EPROM Carrier version of the 71 M/M. the
EPROM is addressed in port 5.0. In the 32K
RAM/32K EPROM M/M the EPROM is addressed
in port 5.0 and the RAM is in port 5.01.
o Note:
The EPROM Carrier always occupies 32K of
memory space, regardless of the size EPROM
actually used.
. The snap-on cover which comes with your TIMIM
should remain on allthe Modules when they are not
installed in the HP-71. The cover protects your
Memory Module against electrostatic discharge as
well as extends the battery life of the 32K and 64K
RAM M/M's.
