To avoid splattering of boiling water, do not overfill the kettle. Make sure
the water level is above the minimum and below the maximum level.
Make sure the lid is securely closed before switching on the kettle.
Never leave the filter loose in the kettle, it must sit securely in place in front
of the spout.
Do not leave the kettle unattended when it is switched on.
Unplug the kettle from the outlet when it is not in use.
Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before putting on or taking off parts
and before cleaning it.

To disconnect the appliance, make sure the power switch is in the off
position, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.

allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

steel and glass surfaces get hot. Only touch the handle.

While water is boiling, or just after the water has finished boiling, avoid
contact with steam from the spout.
Use extreme caution when moving the kettle containing hot water.
Always tip the kettle slowly and carefully when pouring boiling water.
