    The ON/OFF button First plug the power cord into the wall outlet. The LCD display is on and indicates dashes. • Switch the appliance on by pressing button (A) for 3 seconds. • Display indicates temperature +9°C, and it remains on the display until the actual temperature within the unit falls below this value.
  • Page 10 Other settings Alarm Continuous sound - opened door. If the door is open for more than one minute, the sound signal (continuous tone) starts and symbol appears. Alarm goes off by closing the door, or by pressing the alarm off button (C).

  • Page 13 Switching the appliance When switching on the appliance for the fi rst time, fi rst connect on/off the power cord plug to a mains socket. Digital display unit will light up, »dashes« appear. • To switch the appliance on/off, press the (A) key and hold it for 3 seconds.

When the refrigerator boost (intensive cooling) is activated, the signal light (F) will be on. After six hours, the function is deactivated and the settings will return to the most recent values.

    Storing fresh food Important precautions Proper use of the appliance, adequately packed for storing fresh food food, correct temperature and hygienic precautions produce substantial impact on the quality of stored food. Always respect the best before date, printed on the packaging.

    Defrosting the appliance Automatic defrosting The appliance needs no special defrosting procedure, because ice deposited at the inner back wall is defrosted automatically. Ice deposited on the inner back wall during the compressor operation is defrosted when the compressor stops operating, and condensed water drops are drained through the outlet in the inner back wall into the drain pan situated above the compressor where it evaporates.
