      Background info Register H332x MDVR to platform server is to configure some parameters to connect MDVR to platform server. After configuration, MDVR can be controlled through the platform.   H332x MDVR supports access of different platforms. Here is an example of iSCAN platform which is developed by Hongdian itself.

      4.3 Video & Audio “Video & Audio” used to set parameters of Video & Audio encode, output and OSD, record.etc.    4.3.1 Video Encoding “Video Encoding” enables you set parameters for 4 ways video.       Video Resolution: set the video revolution among D1/HALF D1/CIF/QCIF, default CIF.    Frame Rate    Rate Control:   CBR) or  VBR).   Constant Bit Rate( Variable Bit Rate(  Bit Rate: Valid value 16~2000Kbps, Live Stream transfer by 3G/4G default value is 100Kbps,  Storage Stream saved in hard disk default value is 200Kbps.      Notice:  1. Data Rate: means video file size of every seconds, it is the most important parameters which determine    the quality of video.  Storage stream resolution must always higher then live stream. When set both live & storage stream to    D1, all live stream parameters will be same as storage stream.    Only 2 way video could be set to D1.

        4.3.3 OSD Setting “OSD” is abbreviation of “on screen display”, you could set a text to show time and some brief info.            Click add button to add an OSD, and you could set its type, which channel to show this OSD, also its  content (1‐16 characters), and its position.                 Notice:        OSD position:      One position could only show one OSD, after set one OSD, others cannot added at same position.      One video channel could only show 4 OSD.      4.3.4 Video Record “Video Record”  make H3225 MDVR record video into hard disk. You could set time length of every  video in “Basic Time slice”. And the record begin & end time of each day.         ...

        4.5.1 Mobile Network When need to use mobile network to upload video, you need config “Mobile Network” part. This part  determine how the MDVR connect to mobile network.         Please set the follow part according to your local network. Other parameters suggested to keep  default.        Notice:      Auto dialup default is disable, if enable this option without insert SIM card and correct config, MDVR  will repeat reboot itself to dialup.  2.     Advance setup only for experienced network manager.      4.5.2 Timing Dialup According to customers’ need, “Timing Dialup” could make MDVR connect mobile network in certain  period, to save network cost.      4 -9  ...

    4.8 Peripheral Device “Peripheral Device” includes follow parts:    PTZ Setup  RS‐485 Setup  DTU Setup  Storage Management  Format the memory 4.8.1 PTZ Setup “PTZ” means Pan/Tilt/Zoom, by PTZ control, camera could move and zoom as you demand. In this part  you should set PTZ parameters if your camera supports PTZ.    Figure 4‐8‐1:PTZ Setting About PTZ address: PTZ device has dial switch, ON means 1, OFF means 0, whole 8 digits determine  PTZ address.    4.8.2 RS-485 Setup In this part you could set RS485 parameters, RS485 used to connect PTZ of  camera. 4.8.3 DTU “DTU” function receives data from RS232 port. And it send all the data it received to a IP address or a  domain on the Internet. All these are automatically and based on mobile network and data will be  sends transparently without any change.         4 -15...
