INSTALLING AND REPLACING THE BATTERY

The thermometer uses one piece UM-4 or 'AAA' size battery.
If the °C or °F digit flashes, remove the exhausted battery
and follow these steps to install or replace the battery:
1. Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert the battery as indicated by the polarity symbols (+
and -) marked inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery cover.

NOTE After replacing the battery, the display will turn on
for about 3 seconds and then show the MAX/MIN DISPLAY
MODE.
