4.5 Backbone

Connect the DP backbone cable to the bottom connector of the Main-Channel (
is not the last device on the bus segment, connect the Bus-Out cable to the top connector of the Main-
Channel ( ).

- If the Main-Channel recognizes valid PROFIBUS messages from 1 or more connected devices, the
