Notes
• If the "ERROR" or "WARNING" screens appears, check the cause of the problem, then run "AUTO SETUP" again.
• If a warning message "PHASE REVERSED" appears, corrections are made, but they may not be optimal.
• If a warning message "DISTANCE ERROR" or "LEVEL ERROR" appears, no corrections are made.
Cause
Front L/R channel signals are not detected.
A surround channel signal is not detected.
Background noise is too loud.
The optimizer microphone was unplugged
during the "AUTO SETUP" procedure.
The "AUTO SETUP" procedure was
cancelled due to user activity.
Cause
Speaker polarity is not correct. This
message may appear depending on the
speakers even when the speakers are
connected correctly.
The distance between the nearest speaker
and the furthest speaker is out of adjustable
range.
The difference of volume level among
speakers is excessive. (No level correction
is made.)
Remedy
Check the front L/R speaker connections.
Check the surround speaker connections.
Try running "AUTO SETUP" in a quiet
environment.
Turn off noisy electric equipment like air
conditioners or move them away from the
optimizer microphone.
Connect the supplied optimizer microphone
to OPTIMIZER MIC jack on the front
panel.
Run "AUTO SETUP" again.
Remedy
Check the speaker connections for proper
polarity (+ or –).
Bring the speaker closer to the listening
position.
If "SWFR:TOO LOUD" or "SWFR:TOO
LOW" appears, adjust the output volume of
the subwoofer.
Readjust the speaker installation so that all
speakers are set in locations with similar
conditions.
Check the speaker connections.
Use speakers of similar quality.
