TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
If you have followed the instructions and are having difficulty operating the unit, locate the
PROBLEM in the left column below. Check the corresponding POSSIBLE CAUSE column to
locate and remedy the problem.
PROBLEM
No power when ON/OFF
button is on.
No power when plugged
in.
No sound.
CD PLAYER does not
work normally or the
LED displays
POSSIBLE CAUSE
AC power adaptor is not
connected to AC outlet.
The AC outlet may have
no power
AC power adaptor is not
secure on the back of the
unit.
Volume control is set to
minimum.
Volume control in TV set is
set to minimum.
TV set power is OFF.
AUDIO OUT jacks not
connected.
Disc is inserted upside down
Disc is dirty
Disc is scratched
Disc is warped
A non standard disc
is inserted.
Lens is dirty
Moisture has formed inside
the CD deck.
Karaoke system needs to be
reset.

SOLUTION
Connect AC power adaptor to
AC outlet.
Check the outlet with a working
lamp or other electrical appliance.
Securely plug AC power adaptor
small end into the DC jack of the
unit.

Follow directions on the 'Audio
Connection' section.
Insert the disc correctly.
Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
Use a new disc.
Use a new disc.
Only use discs bearing standard
logo.
Use a CD lens cleaner
Wait about 20 - 30 mins to let
it dry out.
Disconnect the machine from the
power source for 30 seconds.
