H4A har to ulike typer audio innganger og utganger: ubalansert audio signal med RCA-plugger (phono
plugger), og ekte balansert audio signal med XLR plugger.
Inngangsvelgeren velger om RCA / Phono eller XLR inngangene skal brukes. Inngangsvelgeren skal
peke i retning av den inngangen du vil bruke.
The input switch selects if RCA / phono or XLR input signals are to be used. The input selector switch
should point in the direction of the input selected.
USE & PLACEMENT
The HEGEL H4A should be placed on a flat, hard surface for proper cooling. The amplifier performs
best after being switched on for 1 hour for heating up. Plenty of space is required for air circulation
above, below and around the amplifier. The amplifier must never be placed on a carpet or similar
surface that obstructs air circulation through the component. Nor must it be covered while in use or
placed on a narrow shelf or in another confined space.
Always use the power switch on the front panel of the H4A to switch the amplifier on and off. Never
switch on or off the AC voltage supply to the H4A with an external switch. If an external switch is
used without switching the H4A power knob off, then the mains fuse in the back side of the H4A can
blow. The reason for this is that the internal soft start circuit inside the H4A must be reset by the H4A
power on off switch.
The amplifier will automatically switch itself off if overheated.
The amplifier will need some break-in time before maximum sound quality can be experienced.

Toppdekselet, sidepanelene og knappene er laget av børstet aluminium. Frontpanelet er laget av
