FCC Statement

The power cable supplied with your device has ferrite beads at one or both ends . It is the user's
responsibility to use the cable with the ferrite beads .
XM Satellite Radio, Inc . can void the user's authority to operate this device if the user makes changes or
modifications to the device not expressly approved by XM Satellite Radio, Inc .
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules . Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device must not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that can cause undesired operation .
This device was tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part
15 of the FCC Rules . These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation .
This device generates, uses, and radiates radio frequency energy, and, if not installed and used according
to the installation instructions, could cause harmful interference to radio communication . However, there
is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation . If this device does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the device off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
Reorient or relocate the antenna of the affected receiver .
Increase the separation between the XM device and the affected receiver .
Connect the XM device into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the affected
receiver is connected .
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help .
WARNING! The FCC and FAA have not certified XM Satellite Radio receivers for use in any aircraft (neither
portable nor permanent installation) . Therefore, XM Satellite Radio, Inc . cannot support this type of
application or installation .
