Troubleshooting

Problem
The appliance
does not
produce any
steam.
Hanger pole
comes loose
when I carry the
steamer.
Steam comes
out at the hose
connection on
the steamer.
An excessive
amount of water
drips out of the
steamer head
when the appli-
ance is heating
up.
The appliance
produce a croak-
ing sound.
Possible cause
The steamer has not
heated up sufficiently.
The water tank is empty
or not in place. Steam
has condensed in the
supply hose.
The pole has not been
locked properly.
The hose is not prop-
erly connected to the
steamer.
The steamer has not
been cleaned for too
long. The water in the
appliance has been left
inside too long.
When the hose forms a
U-shape, condensation
present in the hose
cannot flow back into
the tank.
Solution
Let the appliance heat up for
approx. 1 minute. Refill the water
tank and insert it properly. Lift
the steamer head to straighten
the supply hose. This allows any
condensed water to flow back into
the water tank.
Read
to lock the poles.
Switch off the steamer. Wait
until the steamer has cooled down.
Unscrew the hose and reconnect
it securely.
Read page
to perform De-calc of the steamer.
Please also empty all the water left
in the water
tank after every use.
Lift the steamer head to straighten
the supply hose.
This allows any condensed water to
flow back into the water tank.
