Note
If the coolant level falls below the
line mark, refill the coolant reservoir
with recommended coolant available
with your CHEVROLET retailer.
Warning
Steam and scalding liquids from a
hot cooling system can blow out and
burn you badly. They are under
pressure, and if you turn the coolant
surge tank pressure cap-even a little-
they can come out at high speed.
Never turn the cap when the cooling
system, including the coolant surge
tank pressure cap, is hot. Wait for the
cooling system and coolant surge
tank pressure cap to cool if you ever
have to turn the pressure cap.
Caution
Coolant can be hazardous material.
Avoid repeated or prolonged contact
with coolant.
Clean your skin and nails with soap
and water after coming in contact with
coolant.
Keep out of reach of children.
Coolant can irritate the skin and can
cause illness or death if swallowed.
Caution
It is not needed to add coolant more
frequently than the recommended
interval.
If you are adding coolant often, this
may be a sign that your engine needs
maintenance.
Contact a CHEVROLET retailer for a
check of the cooling system.
