6.Capacitor Disposal
W h e n d i s p o s i n g o f c a p a c i t o r s , u s e o n e o f t h e
following methods.
I n c i n e r a t e a f t e r c r u s h i n g t h e c a p a c i t o r o r
puncturing the can wall (to prevent explosion due
to internal pressure rise). Capacitors should be
incinerated at high temperatures to prevent the
release of toxic gases such as chlorine from the
polyvinyl chloride sleeve, etc.
Dispose of as solid waste.

requirements which must be followed.
