In a text entry screen, press # to switch the text entry
methods until the [ (symbol) indicator displays.
1 Press 1
symbol combinations at the bottom of the display.
2 Press S left or right to highlight the combination you
want.
3 Press SELECT to lock a highlighted combination or you can
press keypad keys to add more symbols to the end of the
combination.
4 Press * to enter the highlighted combination.
