Resetting Your Phone

Resetting the phone resets all settings and erases all data on your
phone.
1. From the Security menu display, select Erase/Reset >
Reset Phone.
2. Read a disclaimer and press OK (left softkey) to continue.
3. If you are certain you would like to reset your phone,
select Yes.

Lost or Stolen Phones

To report your phone missing, call Telecom Customer Service
on 0800 800 163. They will be able to put a bar on your phone to
disable it from being used. You will be asked to load a password
that will need to be repeated if you find or recover your phone.
It is important that you keep this password confidential.
To minimise the inconvenience of losing your phone book
details, please keep a separate record of the information.

Security Features for Internet

Enabling and Disabling Internet Services
You can disable Internet services without turning off your
phone; you will not have access to all Internet services,
including Web and email. Disabling Internet will avoid any
charges associated with Internet services. While signed out, you
can still place or receive phone calls, check voicemail, and use
other voice services. You may enable Internet services again at
any time.
To disable Internet services:
1. Select
> Settings > Internet > Disable.
(A message will appear.)
2. Press Disable (right softkey) to confirm that you want to sign
out.
To enable Internet services:
1. Select
> Settings > Internet > Enable.
(A message will appear.)
2. Press OK (left softkey) to sign in.
