Connecting the Router to Your Computer

A.
First, connect the power adapter to the receptor at the back panel of the
DSL-524T and then plug the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet or
power strip. The Power LED will turn ON to indicate proper operation.
B.
Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into any Ethernet port on the back panel of the
DSL-524T and the other end of the cable to an Ethernet Adapter or available Ethernet
port on your computer.
C.
Insert one end of the Telephone cable into the ADSL port on the rear panel of the
Router and insert the other end into the wall socket. If you need to install a low pass
filter, follow the instructions of your ISP.
Connecting the DSL-524T to your network
Rear Panel Connections
All cable connections to the Router are made at the rear panel. Connect the power adapter
here to power on the Router. Use the Reset button to restore the settings to the factory default
values in the next chapter for instructions on using the reset button.
