  • Page 7 Battery The Axis product uses a 3.0 V BR2032 lithium battery as the power supply for its internal real-time clock (RTC). Under normal conditions this battery will last for a minimum of five years.

  • Page 19 AXIS F41 Main Unit Install the Hardware The Axis F41/F44 Main Unit can be placed on a table desktop or mounted on a DIN rail. To facilitate routing the cables from the top or side remove the 4 screws (Torx T20) and suitably realign the bottom plate under the unit (see Hardware Overview on page 10).
  • Page 20 AXIS F41 Main Unit If required, attach the RS232 cable to connect to auxiliary equipment. Shorten Sensor Unit Cable The sensor unit is delivered with a cable. Note that this cable cannot be extended. To shorten the cable follow these steps: Cut the cable to the desired length.
