Preset Operation

Skip Operation

This option allows you to "SKIP" (bypass) the unused or undesired Programme Numbers. The Function is only
applicable when the Programme Number Up or down buttons are pressed. The use of the remote control Direct
Programme Number Buttons overrides the Skip function. The SKIP function is not available if FAVORITE CH has
been selected.
Using Front Panel Controls
1.
Open the front panel door.
2.
Push the PRE. Button five times.
3.
Select the Programme Location Number you want to skip using the
front panel Programme Number Up or Down Buttons.
4.
Press the Volume Up ( + ) or Volume Down ( - ) Button to switch to
SKIP ON.
5.
When you are satisfied with your selection you can
-Skip more Programme Location Numbers by repeating steps 3 and 4.
-Return the television to normal operation by pushing the PRE. Button
three times.
Using the Remote Control
1.
Push the MAIN MENU Button.
2.
Select the PRESET Menu using the Left (
highlighted, the Preset Menu has been selected.
3.
Push the Down (

Select the Programme Location Number you want to skip using the Remote Control Programme
Number Up or Down Buttons.

When you are satisfied with your selection you can

Return the television to normal operation by pushing the MAIN MENU Button twice.
How to Cancel the Skip
To cancel the Skip function follow the procedure outlined above. Use the appropriate button to switch to
SKIP OFF.
