Intercom
A 2-way intercom is possible between the handset and the base unit.
Paging the base unit from the handset

Handset:
Press
[HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR_.
Talk to the paged party
after the beeps.
e"Intereom" is displayed.
Base unit:
When the other party's
voice is heard, answer
using the MIC.
Handset:
To end the intercom,
press _.

[LOCATOR/INTERCOM]
Paging the handset from the base unit (Handset Iocator)
Using this feature, you can locate a misplaced handset.
Base unit:
Press [LOCATOR/INTERCOM).
aThe handset beeps for l minute and displays "Paging
Press
INTERCOM".
oTo stop paging, press (LOCATOR/INTERCOM] again.
Handset:
Press I HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR] to answer.

Base unit:
Talk into the MIC.
Handset:
To end the intercom, press _.
During an intercom
call:
olntercom
calls can only be ended with the handset.
=*Ifthe handset user has difficulty hearing the base unit user, decrease the
base unit speaker volume by pressing VOLUME _].
olf an incoming catl is received, the intercom call stops and the unit starts to
ring. To answer, press [_'%] or I <- }.
