11.5. BD-Video Ratings

 
Q (home) "Setup" "Player Settings"
Some BD-videos support parental lock which prevents
your children from viewing inappropriate videos. If the
video rating exceeds the parental lock level you have set
on your unit, playback will automatically stop. In order
to continue playback, enter your password to unlock the
function.
For the first time only:
1. Use [ 0 / 1 ] to select "Setup" in the home menu,
then press [OK].
2. Use [ K / L ] to select "Player Settings", then press
[OK].
3. Use [ K / L ] to select "Ratings", then press [OK].
4. Use [ K / L ] to select "BD-Video Ratings ", then
press [OK].
5. Use [ K / L ] to select "No Limit", "1 year"-"21 year(s)",
"Enter Limit", then press [OK].
6. Set any level.
7. Use [the Number buttons] to enter any 4-digit
number for your password.
Once a password is set:
1. Use [ 0 / 1 ] to select "Setup" in the home menu,
then press [OK].
2. Use [ K / L ] to select "Player Settings", then press
[OK].
3. Use [ K / L ] to select "Ratings", then press [OK].
4. Use [ K / L ] to select "BD-Video Ratings", then
press [OK].
5. The Password entry screen will appear. Enter a
Password using [the Number Buttons].
6. Use [ K / L ] to select "No Limit", "1 year" - "21 year(s)",
"Enter Limit", then press [OK].
7. Use [ K / L ] to select "Unlock Player", "Change
Password", "Change Level" or "Temporary Unlock",
then press [OK].
"Unlock Player":
"Change Password": Changes the current Password.

DVD-Video Ratings

For the first time only:

4. Use [ K / L ] to select "DVD-Video Ratings", then
press [OK].
5. Use [ K / L ] to select "8 No Limit" - "0 Lock All",
then press [OK].
6. If an option other than "8 No Limit" is selected,
the Password entry screen will appear. Use [the
Number buttons] to enter any 4-digit number for
your password.
Once a password is set :
1. Use [ 0 / 1 ] to select "Setup" in the home menu,
then press [OK].
2. Use [ K / L ] to select "Player Settings", then press
[OK].
3. Use [ K / L ] to select "Ratings", then press [OK].
4. Use [ K / L ] to select "DVD-Video Ratings", then
press [OK].
5. The Password entry screen will appear. Enter a
Password using [the Number Buttons].
6. Use [ K / L ] to select "8 No Limit" - "0 Lock All",
then press [OK].
• If an option with a lower number than the current
setting is selected, the Password entry screen
will appear. Enter a Password using [the Number
Buttons].
7. Use [ K / L ] to select "Unlock Player", "Change
Password", "Change Level" or "Temporary Unlock",
then press [OK].
