16.0 Troubleshooting

1. No power supply. Connect the electricity supply
2. Too low/high voltage. Check if supply voltage is within
+/- 10%
3. Inadequate pressure at suction discharge. Adjust pres-
sure switch. (See Pump Manual)
4. Seized-up pump. Place a screwdriver against the shaft
end of the motor to check if the rotor will spin freely, if not
contact your BRAC Systems service representative.
1. Overloaded motor. Unplug the power supply and plug
back in, this will reset the pump.

clean check valve and/or foot valve. Replace if necessary.
1. Leakage in suction foot valve pipe or air in water. Check
the suction pipe and water supply.
2. Discharge flow is too low. Adjust fixture to a higher
water flow.
3. Air tank pressure is too low . Check air tank pressure
and recharge.
Ineffective grounding. Reactivate grounding.
1. Low water level in tank, pump is sucking air.
a. Unplug the power cord and open the red filling plug to
release air.
b. Check make-up water connection for adequate flow.
2. Pressure is set too high, adjust pressure. (See Pump
Manual)
3. Flow is set too low, adjust flow. (See Pump Manual)
4. Defective check valve or suction foot valve. Inspect and
clean check valve and/or foot valve. Replace if necessary.
1. 3-phase motor runs in wrong rotation. Switch any of the
