shows that the rechargeable battery power is low (red light), charge
the rechargeable battery.
1. Insert the mains plug of the charger
2. Push the battery release button
rechargeable battery down and out of the cordless drill.
3. Insert the rechargeable battery into the charger so that the contacts of the
rechargeable battery extend into the charger. The rechargeable battery must lock
into the charger (see fig. A).
4. The charge level indicator will initially illuminate in red.
The charge level indicator will turn green once the rechargeable battery is fully
charged. During the charge process, the mains plug, charger and rechargeable
battery will warm up. This is due to operational reasons and is not a defect.
5. Let the rechargeable battery cool down to room temperature if it was heating up
during the charging process.
6. Pull the mains plug out of the charger.
7. Insert the rechargeable battery into the cordless drill and hold the rechargeable
battery firmly to ensure that you do not injure yourself when the rechargeable battery
release mechanism locks into place (see fig. C).
The cordless drill is now operational.
