Commissioning

This section describes how to commission the telephone. You
can use the telephone to make calls once the commissioning pro-
cess is complete.
Removing the battery security strips (only
COMfortel M-200)
Warning: Improper or incorrect use of the batteries may
result in fire, explosions, or the release of caustic chemi-
cals which may cause serious damage to the device or
pose a risk to people.
You must only use the battery supplied with the equipment or
a rechargeable battery of the same type recommended by the
manufacturer.
1.
Press the battery cover and slide it downwards.
2.
Remove the battery cover.
3.
Remove the battery and then peel off the green battery secu-
rity strips on the underside of the battery.

Inserting the battery (only COMfortel M-200)

Press the battery cover and slide it downwards.
2.
Remove the battery cover.
3.
Insert the battery in the battery compartment with its label
facing upwards. Insert the battery so that its contacts touch
