1:1 HDTV Cat 5 System

The UniDrive delivers HDTV signals from a single source
to one remote location up to 1,000 feet away. Unlike
passive balun systems, the UniDrive employs Active Gain
Equalization (AGE), dramatically extending range and signal
integrity. In addition to HDTV audio and video signals, the
UniDrive has a 3-conductor pathway for infrared control
signals. This pathway can be used for signals traveling in
either direction.
The system includes one Model 9880T Cat 5 Transmitter,
and one Model 9880 Cat 5 Receiver. The cable length
compensation adjustment on the receiver allows the
installer to fine tune image quality over long Cat 5 runs.
Only the transmitter requires a power supply; the receiver is
powered over the Cat 5 cable.
