cooked meat (boned, with gristle removed and
diced), raw or cooked fish. Do not chop products
that are too hard (ice, sugar) or need to be finely
ground (grains, coffee beans).

. LIQUIDISING (*)
- Fit the stainless steel blade (c1) on the shaft of
the bowl.
- Place the Spiral System (f1) on the blade.
- Now place the ingredients in the bowl.
Preparations
- You can prepare up to 0.8 litres of soup, drink,
pancake or waffle batter.
Warning:
- Never process boiling liquid in the bowl.
- Maximum usage time: 2 minutes.

. BEATING/EMULSIFYING/WHIPPING (*)

- Lower the drive (d1) onto the central shaft of
the processor.
- Place the emulsifier disk (e1) on top and turn it
until it locks.
- Now place the ingredients in the bowl.
Preparations
- You can prepare 1 to 4 egg whites and up to
0.2 litres of fresh cream.
Warning: never use the emulsifier (e1) to knead
heavy dough or to mix light dough.
Maximum usage time: 4 minutes.

. GRATING/SLICING (*)

- Slide the blade (C, H, A, E) into the blade car-
rier disc (d2).
- Engage the drive tube (d1) in the centre of the
disc so that the point passes through the hole
in the middle of the blade.
- Turn the tube (d1) through a quarter turn to
lock it in the disc.
- To dismantle, reverse the procedure: the blade
cannot be taken out until the drive tube has
been removed.
- Place the assembly on the central shaft of the
bowl.
- Insert the food in the feed tube and push it
down with the pusher (b1) but never with
the fingers or any other utensil.
Preparations
. Blade C (coarse grater): carrots, cheese, celery
etc.
. Blade H (thick slicer): potatoes for gratin dau-
phinois, carrots, cucumbers, etc.
. Blade A (fine grater) (*): carrots, cheese, celery,
etc.
. Blade E (chip cutter) (*): potatoes for chips, etc.
- Prepare no more than 500 g of food at a time
(no meat or sausage products).
(*) : depending on model.

. PRESSING CITRUS FRUIT (*)
- Place the strainer basket (h1) on the bowl, then
turn it until it locks.
- Lower the driver (h2) onto the central shaft of
the processor.
- Locate the cone on the strainer basket.
- Cut the fruit in 2.
- Hold one half of the fruit on the cone and press
down.
Preparations
- You can squeeze up to 0.8 litres of juice without
emptying the bowl.
- Rinse out the strainer basket (h1) every
0.5 litres.

. JUICING FRUIT AND VEGETABLES (*)
- Place the filter band (i3) in the filter carrier (i5).
- Fix the collar (i4) on the filter carrier (i5); it
secures the filter band.
- Place the filter assembly carrier (i3+i4+i5) on
the bowl driver.
- Place the lid (i2) on the bowl and lock it.
- Insert the food in the feed tube.
- Press the food down using the pusher (i1) –
never use your fingers.
Preparing the fruit
- Wash the fruit and cut into pieces if necessary.
- Remove stones from plums, peaches, apricots
and cherries, and the leaves from celery.
- Peel citrus fruit, melons (also remove the pips)
and pineapples.
Warning:
- Do not use the appliance if the filter carrier is
damaged.
- For the best results, process small quantities at
a time and clean the filter frequently.
- Do not exceed 250 g of ingredients.
- Maximum usage time: 1 min 30.
To unlock the lid :
Press on (a4) to unlock the lid and turn the lid
clockwise.
(*): depending on the model

Cleaning

- Disconnect the appliance, remove and
dismantle the accessories.
- To remove the bowl, turn slightly clockwise to
release.
- Wash, rinse and dry the accessories (they can
be put in the dishwasher).
- Do not use abrasive sponges or objects
containing metal parts.
- Never immerse the motor unit (a1) in water.
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
- If your accessories are discoloured by the food
(carrots, oranges, etc.), gently rub them with a
cloth to which you have applied some cooking
oil and then clean in the usual way or clean by
soaking in mild bleach (non abrasive) straight
after use.
Note : some permanent staining may occur -
this is normal.
- Handle the knife (c1) and the blades (H and
E) with care; they are extremely sharp.
