Sewing overcasting stitches using the side
cutter (sold separately with some models)
Using the side cutter, seam allowances can be finished
while the edge of the fabric is cut off. Five utility stitches
can be used to sew overcasting stitches with the side
cutter.
Note
• Thread the needle manually when using the side
cutter, or only attach the side cutter after
threading the needle using the needle threader.
