Cause and remedy
The float switch in the base of the machine has not been
activated. The switch might be blocked.
Remove the filter combination.

Check the float switch to make sure it moves freely. The

float switch is located in the base of the machine behind
the spray arm.
A programme was cancelled due to slow spray arm speed
because...
- ... items are obstructing the machine or basket spray
arms.
Arrange the load so that the spray arms can turn easily

and start the programme again.
- wash pressure is too low due to a heavy build-up of foam.
Follow the instructions regarding foam build-up in

"Chemical processes and technology".
- ... spilt rinsing agent was not wiped away after refilling
which caused a heavy build-up of foam during the next
programme sequence.
Ensure that any spilt rinsing agent is wiped away after
refilling.
Rinsing
Start the programme in order to clean the wash

cabinet.
Then reprocess the items again.

A programme was cancelled because the water in the wash
cabinet is only being pumped away slowly or not at all,
possibly because...:
- ...the drain hose is blocked.
Remove any kinks or large loops in the drain hose.

Start the programme again.

- ... the filters in the wash cabinet are blocked.
Clean the filters in the wash cabinet.

 Danger of injury from glass shards, needles etc which
are retained in the filters.
Start the programme again.

- ... the drain pump or the non-return valve are blocked.
Clean the access to the drain pump and the non-return

valve.
Start the programme again.

- ... the drainage system cannot take in enough water
because it is blocked.
Contact a suitably qualified plumber.

