8. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
CONNECTED LED is not on.
CHARGING LED is flashing.
FULL CHARGE LED is on,
but battery is not fully charged.
All LEDs light in an erratic manner.
Environmental Protection.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as
waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which
is compatible with the environment.

Possible Cause
The battery is not connected correctly.
Battery voltage is at zero volts.
Charger is in abort mode.
Battery is sulphated.
Battery is defective.
Surface charge voltage is high.
Battery voltage is very low and the charger
detects it as 6V, not 12V.
A button may have been pressed whilst the
charger was being plugged in.

Solution
Check for correct connection to the battery.
Turn everything off in the vehicle and try to
connect again.
Unplug the charger from the mains supply
and plug it back in.
Use Desulphation Mode (
Have the battery checked.
Replace the battery.
Unplug the charger from the mains supply and
plug it back in.
Unplug the charger from the mains supply and
plug it back in, without touching the control
board.
WEEE Regulations.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance
with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an
environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste
authority for recycling information.
