Serial Commands
ASCII character codes are used for commands, return values, and error messages.
•
Commands take the format: command parameters
•
Commands are case-sensitive and always lower-case.
•
The total message length cannot exceed 49 characters.
Parameters
•
Add a space between the command and the first parameter.
•
Add a space between parameters.
•
Do not place angle brackets (< >) or quotes (" ") around parameters.
•
When the parameter is a media file, include the filename extension.
Example: sclip beaches.wav
•
When the parameter is a playlist file, do not include the filename extension.
Example: slist smplPlaylist
