    A single DN-V755 unit mounted in the 1U space of a 19” rack. When mounting the DN-V755 on a rack, use guide rails or shelf boards, etc., on the rack side to prevent weight from being applied to the front of the DN-V755. The fittings alone cannot support the weight of the DN-V755 (2.5 kg).

    Connecting the AC Adapter 1. Set the DN-V755 power switch to OFF. The power switch is on the rear panel of the unit. 2. Insert the power cord’s plug into the AC adapter’s AC inlet side. 3. Insert the AC adapter’s DC plug into the DN-V755’s DC jack.

    17. Connecting to a Network or Computer More often than not, you can connect your DN-V755 to a corporate or home network in two easy steps: 1. Connect the DN-V755 to the network using the Ethernet RJ-45 terminal on the rear of the unit.

    Accessing the DN-V755 on a Home Network or Stand-Alone Computer The following sections describe how to access the unit on a home network or a computer that is not part of a network. Once you access the unit, you can open the user application and set the date and time, change the unit’s name, and create and play playlists.

Opening the User Application The DN-V755 unit’s user application allows you to change the name of your unit, set the date and time, create and play playlists, and configure other settings. The application file is named StartWeb.htm and is stored in the unit’s Application folder.

    Quick Guide to the Main Application Window The user application contains three tabs: • Now Playing – Allows you to select a playlist and control playback. • Playlists & Media – Allows you to create and edit playlists. • Settings – Allows you to change the unit settings and preferences. Tabs Changing the Name of the Unit By default, the unit is named MediaPlayer followed by four digits, such as 1234.
