  • Page 3 FUNCTIES 1. Heat-sink of the amplifier. Please keep unobstructed, may become hot. 2. MIC XLR input for microphone (symmetrical). 3. Volume control for MIC input. 4. 6.3mm jack MIC input for microphone (symmetrical). 5. Volume control for LINE IN input. 6. Stereo cinch connection input LINE IN (AUX). The amplifier converts the stereo signal into mono. 7. Master volume control for adjusting the total volume. 8. LINE IN XLR input for line signals (symmetrical). 9. Treble control. 10. 6.3mm jack output (symmetrical). Signal for an external device. 11. Bass control. 12. Power LED. Power indication. 13. CLIP LED. Illuminates at maximum power output. 14.     BEFORE USE The MPA-BOX functions on the mains. MAINS POWER: Only connect the MPA-BOX to a mains power of 230 Volt. In most European countries, the mains operates on 230 Volts. Use the supplied power cord to connect the MPA-BOX with the mains. SPEAKER SETUP POWER SWITCH: Use the power switch to turn the speaker on and off. MASTER VOLUME (lower level button): The master volume control allows you to control the total volume level of the set. When this volume control is switched off (counter-clockwise), the set will not produce any sound. ATTENTION: Turn this control fully counter-clockwise before switching on the set to prevent the volume level from being too high. Separate equipment can be connected tot the MPA-BOX, e.g. a DVD player (ka- raoke), mini disk player or separate MP3 player. These devices must be provided with a line output. Use a suitable cable (not included) to connect these devices to the LINE IN input, the AUX input of the set. MIC VOLUME CONTROL (microphone) (upper level button): An external microphone or electric device with cables can be connected to the “MIC input” (XLR) (balanced/symetrical) and (Jack) (balanced/symmetrical).

    OPTIONALLY AVAILABLE EXTRA LSPEAKER: It’s possible to connect the MPA-BOX as an additional speaker to the MPA series. In this case, the signal comes from the MPA series speaker which already has a built-in audio source. Use the supplied signal cable to connect the twee speakers as below. The MPA-BOX can be ordered as an extra speaker for the MPA series. The MPA-BOX operates on 230V mains power, i.e. mains power must be present. The input of the MPA-BOX has two different input connections.
