Preparing the descaling solution
We recommend using Miele descaling
tablets to clean the brew unit.
These have been specially developed
for use with Miele coffee systems and
prevent subsequent damage.
Only use the Miele descaling tablets.
Other types of descaling agents can
damage the machine and affect the
taste.
Miele descaling tablets are available to
order from a Miele dealer or Miele's on‐
line store.
You will need two descaling tablets.

Descaling the machine
Fill the water tank to the
lukewarm water.
Drop two descaling tablets in the wa‐
ter.
Follow the instructions for the mixing
ratio carefully. It is important that you
do not fill the water tank with too
much or too little water. Otherwise
the descaling process will be cancel‐
led prematurely.
