CAUTION: Switch off the appliance and pull the plug from the mains socket before you clean the appli-
ance components or remove blockages.
Cleaning the electric brush
Unfasten the 3 screws using a
cross-head screwdriver.
Lift the side guide for the brush
roller a little and remove it.
Removing blockages in the suction hose
Remove the V-belt cover.
Pull the brush roller out of the
housing. Carefully remove all
the soiling.
TIP: To check the hose for blockages, you can
vacuum a table tennis ball or a ball of paper of a
similar size. If the ball passes through the hose, it
is not blocked.
If there is a blockage in the hose: Remove the suc-
tion hose from the appliance and telescopic exten-
sion tube. Remove the blockage, e.g. using a broom
handle or a straightened wire coat hanger.
Maintenance
Remove the V-belt.
Carefully use scissors or twee-
zers. Make sure that the brush
is not damaged in the process.
