If you've accidentally pressed the on/off switch 3, the cleaner may start up when you
plug it in.
13 Plug the cable into a power socket (switch the socket on).
14 Press and release the on/off switch 3, to turn the cleaner on.
C CLEANING
15 Move the tool over the surface, cleaning a small area at a time.
16 When you move to a new area, overlap the previous area.
C FINISHED?
17 Press and release the on/off switch 3, to turn the cleaner off.
18 Unplug the cleaner (switch the socket off first).
19 Press the cable rewind button C – the cable will rewind.
20 Keep clear of the cable as it rewinds. If it catches on anything, stop pressing, and it'll stop
rewinding.
21 We've tried not to make it too powerful, to avoid wrecking your home, so you may need to
push the plug end in manually.
C REMOVING AND EMPTYING THE BIN
22 It's best to empty the bin after each use.
23 Switch off, unplug, and leave it for a minute, to let the dust settle.
24 Turn the hose end anti-clockwise and pull it out of the inlet.
25 Grip the bin handle, press the bin release button, and lift the bin out of the cleaner.
26 Hold the bin so that the bottom of the bin is below the dustbin rim.
27 Pull the latch on the rear of the bin away from the bin – let it go and the bottom will fall open.
28 When the bin is empty, lift the bottom of the bin up to close it, then lower it into the cleaner.
29 Push down firmly, till you hear it click into place.
