Turn the air conditioner off and remove the plug from
the wdl outiet before cleaning.
Use water and a mild deterge~

The front grille must be removed in order to reach the

air filter.

The filter behind the front grille shodd be checked
and cleaned at least every 30 days or more often if
necessary.
Clean tie filter by washing it in warm, soapy water.
Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it.
DO NOT operate the air conditioner without a filter.
DO NOT use bleach
or abrasives.
Outdoor coik
The coils on the weather side of the air conditioner
should be checked regularly. If they are clogged with
dirt or soot they maybe professionally steam cleane~
a service available through your GE service outlet.
