PC connection (USB 2.0):
If the PVR menu is shown on screen but neither the playback nor the recording
function is active, the hard disk can be controlled by a personal computer connec-
ted to the „HD" port (USB 2.0) by pressing key „8". This function must be confi rmed
by pressing OK. The computer will maintain control over the hard disk until the PVR

key is pressed again. Press OK to confi rm that the control of the hard disk is passed
back to the receiver.
When the hard disk is controlled by a computer via the USB 2.0 port, programs
stored on the hard disk can be downloaded if suitable software is installed.
The following software (examples) is suitable to download and edit recorded pro-
grams:
DVR-Studio PRO (www.haenlein-software.de)
DigeniusDiskX (www.sourceforge.net/projects/digeniusdisk)
Erasing the harddisk:
To erase all records on the hard disk, please choose main menu / extra / erase hard
disc. This erases all records. To erase certain single records, you got to switch by PVR
MENU into record overview and select there the record you like to erase. There is no
back up for erased records.
