Wi-Fi Active: Wi-Fi is connected, active, and
communicating with a Wireless Access Point (WAP).
Wi-Fi networks available: An open Wi-Fi network
is in range.
Wi-Fi Direct: Displays when Wi-Fi Direct is active
and your tablet is connected to another device. For
more information, refer to "Wi-Fi Direct" on
page 81.
Location Active: Displays when GPS is actively
determining your location.
Updates Available: Updates to the applications you
have downloaded are available.
Set up input methods: When the keyboard is being
displayed, touch this icon to display a menu of quick
keyboard settings.
Screenshot Captured: A screenshot has been
captured. For more information, refer to "Screen
Capture" on page 33.
Nearby Devices: The Nearby devices setting is
enabled. For more information, refer to "Nearby
Devices" on page 116.
Blocking Mode: Notifications for selected features
are disabled. For more information, refer to
"Blocking Mode" on page 117.
Event: This is a notification for one or more events.
For more information, refer to "Calendar" on
page 97.
USB Connected: Device is connected to a
computer using a USB cable.
Battery Level: Displays your battery charge level.
Icon shown is fully charged.
Charging Indicator: Displays when your battery is
charging. Also displays battery charge level.
Device Power Critical: Shows your current battery
only has less than 5 percent power remaining and
will immediately shutdown.
USB Connection Indicator: The device is
connected to a computer using a USB cable, but it
is not charging. The battery is only charged while
connected to a computer, if the device is turned off.
When the device is off, press the Power/Lock key to
see the battery charging indicator.
