Getting Started
1. Ensure that all connections have been made as shown in the previous section. Press
the Power Button on the front of the unit.
2. Upon Powering Up, a message will appear "Please Check HDD Key Lock before
Turn ON". This message is reminding you to ensure that the cabinet of the DVR is
locked before proceeding.
3. The check of the HDD key lock will be followed by
an overall diagnostic check of the HDD. The screen
will appear as shown to the right:
Note: If you get a "FAIL" message in HDD Auto Detect, the HDD is not installed
correctly. Confirm that the HDD is set to master and that the tray is locked.
