  • Page 6 When all eight edges are dull on both the upper and lower blades, replace both 004679 blades with new ones. Each time blades are rotated or replaced, proceed as follows. Remove the blade securing bolts with the hex wrench provided and then rotate or replace the blades.

    First, semi- tighten the lower blade securing bolt, then insert the thickness 004685 gauge for the desired clearance. The cutting thickness is indicated on the thickness gauge so the combinations shown in the table below should be used. Work the lower blade positioning bolt on the yoke until the clearance is such that the thickness gauge moves only with some difficulty.
