    V ADJUSTMENTS The Metro IC3 offers several adjustments to make it easier and more comfortable to drive. Part VII, MAINTENANCE, offers preventive maintenance suggestions for keeping your wheelchair in excellent condition; ensure that all components are in excellent condition before adjusting.
  • Page 14 ARMS The Metro IC3 can be equipped with either fixed height arms (standard) or adjustable height arms (optional). All Metro IC3 arms are removable. Remove arm 1. Push lower arm right arm release pin in until it unlocks. release pin 2.
  • Page 15 Adjust arm height (optional adjustable height arm) If your Metro IC3 arm is equipped with an upper arm release pin, your arm is height adjustable. To adjust: 1. Pull upper arm release pin upper arm until it unlocks, freeing upper arm to move up and down.

    FRONT RIGGING The Metro IC3 front rigging can be released to swing out and detach. FOOTREST—DETACHABLE, SWINGAWAY Warning: The footplates' lowest point should be no closer to the ground than 2-1/2 inches, to permit proper clearance. Warning: Do not stand on the footplates; this could cause the wheelchair to tip.

    The Metro IC3 can easily be transported by folding the wheelchair: 1. Detach front rigging from wheelchair. 2. Remove the seat cushion, if so equipped.

    Periodic inspection, adjustment, and replacement of worn parts will provide many years of superb performance. When you believe that a component or part of your Metro IC3 is not functioning properly, contact your Graham-Field Health Products dealer immediately, as a potentially hazardous condition could result.
