Receiver – Front & Back Panels
1. Indicator LEDs:
Power: Illuminates when the unit is powered on
Link: Illuminates to show a good connection between Transmitter and Receiver, Flashes to show a poor
connection and stays off when no connection is made.
HDCP: Illuminates to show HDMI signal using HDCP, Flashes to show HDMI signal not using HDCP and
stays off when HDMI signal is available.
FW: Flashes during normal operation.
2. IR IN: Connect the supplied IR Extender cable for IR signal reception. Ensure that remote being used
is within the direct line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
3. IR OUT: Connect the supplied IR Blaster Cable for IR signal transmission. Place the IR Blaster in
direct line-of-sight of the equipment to be controlled.
4. RS-232: Connect to a PC, Serial Controller or Serial device via terminal block 3 way connection for
the transmission of RS-232 commands.
5. AUDIO OUT: Connect to an audio receiver or active speakers to the output port using a 3.5mm or
3.5mm to Phono cable.
6. USB-D: Connect to USB peripheral devices such as a printer, keyboard, mouse or flash drive
7. USB-H: Connect to a PC or Laptop to transmit data or control from the Receiver's USB-D slots
8. USB-D/ USB-H Select: Switch between USB Host and USB Device mode (Requires power cycle)
9. UPDATE: Reserved for future use
10. HDBaseT IN: Connect to the HDBaseT OUT port on the Transmitter unit with a single CAT5e/6/7
cable for transmission of all data signals – never connect to a network port.
11. HDMI OUT: Connect to an HDMI display using an HDMI cable.
12. SPDIF IN: Connect to a digital audio source to the input port using a TOSLink cable.
13. SPDIF OUT: Connect to a digital audio receiver or active speakers to the output port using a
TOSLink cable.
14. LAN: Connect to an internet or network connection – never connect to an HDBaseT port.
15. DC 24V: A 24V power supply may be attached, but is not required under normal operation.
