Tape the cable to the battery body, and put the battery in a plastic bag, etc.
Cover the connector with tape before you put the battery in a plastic bag.
Notes
• Check that the battery is completely drained before removing it.
• Make sure that your m:robe is turned off before removing the battery.
• Do not reuse the battery once it has been removed.
• At your earliest opportunity, return the removed built-in battery to a recycling location.
• When you dispose of this product, you should obey local ordinance or rule of your municipality. For details, contact your
local authority.
Troubleshooting
Before sending the product for repair, refer to the following checklist to resolve the problem. If the problem
persists, contact your nearest Olympus service center.
In addition, be sure to back up the data before sending this product for repair or service. Writing to the hard disk
or deleting data, etc., may be necessary during the repair or service.
Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot copy stored data for repair or service. Restoring the data is not
available. We also recommend backing up your data often, by synchronization, to prevent data loss problems.
Problem
The power
cannot be turned
on.
The power turns
off automatically.

Cause
The battery is empty.
The operation of the device is
unstable.
Off Timer is set.
The Auto Off function is
activated.
The battery is discharged.
Solution
Charge the battery with the supplied AC
adapter.
Reboot the device.
The power turns off automatically after
the preset time of the Off Timer has
elapsed. Set to "OFF" to disable the Off
Timer setting.
If playback of music, slide show or
remix is stopped and no operation is
performed for more than 10 minutes,
the device automatically turns off. Turn
on the device by pressing POWER.
Charge the battery with the supplied AC
adapter.
