Load the cargo against the backrest.
Load heavy cargo as low as possible.
Load wide cargo on either side of the rear seat split.
If no one is sitting in the rear seat, reinforce the backrest by fastening the rear seat belts.
Never load cargo above the backrest without a cargo net.
WARNING!
When the rear seat backrest(s) are folded down, the car should not be loaded to a level higher than 2
in. (5 cm) below the upper edge of the rear passenger door windows. Objects placed higher than this
level could impede the function of the inflatable curtain.

Steel grid (option)
If your car has an extra steel cargo grid in the cargo area, it must always be correctly fitted and securely
anchored for safety's sake.
To fit the steel cargo grid:
Insert the end piece of the steel grid into the holder.
Press the knob (1) and turn it as far as it will go.
Make sure that the green marks on the knob and bracket (2) are adjacent to each other (see
illustration).
