Taking pictures using the LCD monitor

Open the lens barrier. Press the LCD monitor ON/OFF
button to turn on the LCD monitor.
Press the button again to turn off the monitor.

Aim the camera by looking at the subject through the LCD
monitor.
Take the picture in the same way as you would when using
the optical viewfinder. (p. 72)

The image appears on the LCD monitor while the camera
records it.
Unless the SmartMedia card is full, the next picture can be
taken after a few seconds*, when the Green lamp goes off.

When the image has been recorded, the LCD monitor
displays what is viewed through the viewfinder.
