DIGITAL TELE MODE

In the Digital Tele mode, the subject can be photographed (cropped to
appear) twice as large. When used with the 3X optical zoom, you can
take an approximately 6X zoom photograph. (p. 51)

Note:
• This mode can only be used in the SQ mode (automatically set).
• The Digital Tele mode will be canceled when the LCD monitor is turned
off.

Open the lens barrier.
Press the Macro/Digital Tele
button twice to turn on the
LCD monitor in the Digital
Tele mode.
• Press the bottom arrow on the
Jog dial for 2X magnification.
• Press the top arrow on the Jog
dial to return to 1X.
Take a picture.
