Taking still pictures

You can take still pictures simply by pressing the shutter button as you look
at the monitor.
The recorded picture will be stored on the card if you have inserted one, or in
the internal memory if you have not inserted a card.

Press the power switch.
• The camera turns on in the shooting
mode.
• The lens extends and the monitor turns
on.
• The orange lamp lights.

Position the AF target mark on the subject while looking at
the monitor and decide on composition.
Holding the camera
Hold the camera firmly with
both hands while keeping your
elbows at your sides to prevent
the camera from moving.
Keep your fingers and the strap
away from the lens and flash.
