    SECTION 3 DISASSEMBLY Main body section 3.1.1 Removing the metal cover (See Figs.1 to 3) (1) From the both sides of the main body, remove the two screws A attaching the metal cover. (See Figs.1 and 2.) Metal cover (2) From the back side of the main body, remove the six screws B attaching the metal cover.

  • Page 10 3.1.3 Removing the tuner (See Figs.8 and 9.) • Remove the metal cover. (1) From the top side of the main body, disconnect the card Tuner wire from the connector CN21 on the main board.     3.1.6 Removing the DVD mechanism assembly (See Figs.12 and 13) • Remove the metal cover, tuner and video board. (1) From the top side of the main body, remove the three DVD mechanism assembly Center chassis screws M attaching the DVD mechanism assembly on the center chassis.

(1) From the side of the traverse mechanism assembly, solder the short land sections d on the pickup. (See Fig.4.) (2) Release the lock of the connector on the pickup in the di- rection of the arrow and disconnect the card wire.
