This function tets you take pictures using the self-timer Fix the camera
secureIy on a tripod or set it on a levet surface for setf-timer shooting. This
function is useful for taking pictures where you want to be inctuded in the
photograph
Open the lens barrier fully.
• The camera turns on in the shooting
mode
Press _ (_) ),
• The monitor turns on and the current self-
timer setting is displayed
Press _ ( _ ) to switch the self-
timer mode on or off.
• The setting changes between L"_ ON
and _ OFF each time _, isVpressed
When the self-timer mode is selected,
is displayed on the monitor

Take the picture.
• The self-timer lamp lights up for
approximately 10 seconds, and starts
blinking. After blinking for 2 seconds with
a beep sound, the picture is taken.
• The self-timer mode is automatically
canceIed after one shot.
