When correct focus cannot be obtained on the subject you w ant to shoot, you
can f ocus the camera on another point atroughty the s ame distance (focus
lock) and t ake t he picture as explained betow.
Determinethe positionof the subject afterfocusing(FocusLock)

Open the lens barrier fully.
• The camera turns on in the shooting
mode
Position the AF target mark on
the subject you want to focus on.
• When shooting a hard-to-focus
subject, point the camera at an object
about the same distance away as the
subject
Press the shutter button
halfway until the green lamp
lights.
• The focus and exposure are locked,
the green lamp lights steadily.
• When the green lamp blinks, the Shutter button
focus and exposure are not locked.
Release your finger from the shutter button, re-position your subject
and press the shutter button halfway again.
