Internal microphone can be tested by subjective testing. When using internal mic to headphone out loop
connect known working headset (Nokia HS-48) to the device and test if you can hear the sound through the
headsets.
External microphone is tested by feeding test signal to the X4120's pin 3 and gnd.
In this case use input signal presented a table below and check also supposed output.
Fastest and easiest way to test external microphone functionality is to insert known working (HS-48) headset
to the audio connector, enable Ext microphone in Ext earpiece out test audio loop by the Phoenix and just
speak and listen.
Note: Before testing any microphone path test the headphone output functionality as described on
previous page.
